Join as a member
You can join the student union if you have enrolled as a present student at Vaasa University of Applied Sciences.
How to join
- Enroll for the semester
- Get your personal VAMK credentials: www.vamk.fi/tunnukset
- Take a clear picture of your face
- Fill out the membership application form using your VAMK email (exxxxxxx@edu.vamk.fi) and attach the picture of yourself to the form
- Pay the membership fee for the semester or school year
- Wait for conformation. Membership applications are reviewed on weekdays. Once your application has been processed you will receive a confirmation to your email
Degree membership
Students starting Autumn 2025 are able to join for the entire duration of their studies.
Degree membership is valid for 4 years for technology students and 3,5 years for social and health care and business students.
Degree students save on yearly membership fees and receive student overalls free of charge.

Memberships for the spring semester will be available on 1.1.2026

Degree membership is valid from 1.1.2026 to 31.1.2030. Degree members get student overalls free of charge. Technology students.

Degree membership is valid from 1.1.2026 to 30.9.2029. Degree members get student overalls free of charge. Social and health care and business students.
