The sauna facilities
The sauna facility is located in the Vaasa University of Applied Sciences building in Palosaari, with the entrance to the sauna facilities on the VAMK back parking lot side at Palosaarentie 8. The sauna facility has its own entrance separate from the rest of the school building, and there is no access from there to the other premises of the school. This means that you are free to bring your own refreshments to enjoy during your celebration in the rented space.
The facilities also include 2 toilets and a foyer area, where you can find amenities such as a Hartwall soft drink vending machine. According to VAMOK’s sauna usage rules, the rental period for the facilities is from 16:00 to 24:00, after which alarms will be activated in the premises. Cleaning service is not included in the sauna room rental price, and each renter is responsible for cleaning the facilities after their own use. However, the renter can also clean the premises the following morning between 8:00 and 12:00 before returning the key.

Sauna and shower facilities
A modern sauna that can accommodate approximately 15 people at a time. The dressing room and under the sauna benches are equipped with audio equipment, which is controlled through the amplifier unit in the dressing room using AUX and Bluetooth connections. The dressing room also has its own refrigerator.
Lounge and kitchen
Video projector and screen, home theater-quality audio equipment, sofa for 8+ people. Foosball, speed game and board games. Well-equipped kitchen (fridge, stove, microwave, coffee maker, kettle, dishwasher). Dining tables, chairs, and basic tableware for 32 people.
Meeting room
A separate meeting room equipped with a video projector for 10 people.
After the reservation
After making the reservation, you will receive an email confirmation of your booking request. You will receive the final confirmation of your reservation’s approval after VAMOK’s office has reviewed and accepted your booking, usually on the next business day.

Keys
You can collect the keys to the premises on the rental day (on the previous Thursday for weekend rentals and previous weekday for public holidays) from VAMOK’s office located in the basement of VAMK, within the office’s opening hours. The keys should also be returned to VAMOK’s office on the next weekday after the rental or to the designated return box in the premises.
Payment
The rental fee is paid upon key pickup and can be paid in cash or by credit card. Companies and associations also have the option of invoicing. To be eligible for a member or student discount, please remember to bring a valid membership or student ID with the renter’s name when picking up the key. The key can only be picked up by the person whose name the reservation is made under.
