Sports timetable

Welcome to VAMOK´s sports shifts! We offer group exercise classes, free use of gym, futsal, floorball, volleyball, basketball and badminton for our members. Sport shifts will begin on monday 29.08.2022.

 

There might be changes and cancellation of shifts. We will inform you about them on VAMOK´s Facebook site and on our website. To participate in sports shifts you need to prove that you are a VAMOK member. To do so keep your valid student card with you when taking part in the shifts.

 

Wasa Sport Club offers free gym and sports shifts for VAMOK members. To participate in the VAMOK shifts organized at WSC you will need a WSC entry tag.  The tag is free for VAMOK members and you will get it from the gym’s reception. All you need to do is register your information on WSC’s website: http://reservation.wasasportsclub.fi/register/index.php?func=training_card&lang=1

You will get your WSC entry tag when visiting the gym for the first time and showing the order confirmation email and your student card in reception. Take good care of your tag since it is your entry ticket to the shifts.

 

Instructions for filling the registration form:

Choose “treenikortit” (“training cards” as it is already), “sopimus” (“agreement”) choose VAMOK, Sopimuskauden kesto “kaikki” (“all” as it is already), and hit “valitse” (“choose”). Fill your information in the following way:

Etunimi = First Name

Sukunimi = Last Name

Katuosoite = Street Address

Postinumero = Zip Code

Paikkakunta = City

Sähköposti = Email

Puhelinnumero = Phone Number

 

To confirm agreement terms check “hyväksyn sopimusehdot” and hit “vahvista” (confirm). After this you will get a confirmation notification into the screen and into your email. Remember to take the order confirmation and your student card with you when heading to the gym for the first time to get your WSC entry tag.

 

Attention! Registering as a new user of VAMOK’s WSC shifts is possible starting from 29.8.2022.

 

You can pick up your WSC entry tag from Wasa Sports Club’s reception during their operating hours:

  • Mon-Fri 10.00-20.00
  • Sat 10.00-14.00
  • Sun 16.00-20.00

FREE USE OF THE GYM at 05.00-10.00

Entry to the shift through Wasa Sports Club’s back door by using your WSC entry tag. The reception desk is not open, so you need to have picked up your WSC entry tag beforehand in order to take part in this shift.

Remote exercise

From this facebook group you will find weekly changing exercise videos, where Wasa Sports Club instructors guide you through sweat inducing Tabata training and restorative body maintenance. In addition, you will find five minute break time workout videos, which prevent muscle stiffness caused by sitting on the computer.
